Every year since 1938 the Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club has been putting on a rally, which is now titled Sturgis Rally (or Sturgis Bike Week) held in Sturgis, South Dakota. This event takes place every year in the first week of August and while it used to mainly focus on motorcycle races and stunts it now offers everything from races, to an annual Mayor’s ride, to concerts and the latest motorcycle debuts from Harley Davidson and other companies.

Sturgis Bike Week Performer in the Past:
The Sturgis Rally is known for having one of the largest crowd turnouts and is referred to as the World’s Biggest Party.  In the past, performers who have taken the stage at Sturgis include: Montgomery Gentry, Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Sheryl Crow, Def Leopard, 38 Special, The Allman Brothers, Styx, The Beach Boys, Toby Keith, Steve Miller Band, The Guess Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Keith Anderson, Doobie Brothers, Charlie Daniels, Poison, Billy Idol, Blues Travelers, Journey, Kid Rock and many more.
