Marty Stuart to Headline Johnny Cash Event

9/10/2007 Stephen L. Betts Marty Stuart will headline the Johnny Cash Flower Pickin' Festival, scheduled for Nov. 2-4 in Starkville, Miss. Johnny was arrested in Starkville on May 11, 1965, after police said the legend was picking flowers in someone's yard. He was fined $36 and spent a night in jail. He wrote a song about the incident, “Starkville City Jail” and later performed it for the inmates at San Quentin Prison. During the festival honoring his life and his music, Johnny is expected to be pardoned for breaking the law. For more details, check out .
