Here we go Nashville, there's a new label in town!  From the award-winning producer James Shroud is the unveiling of Stroudavarious Records.  The independent label will be distributed by RED, a division of Sony BMG Entertainment.

The Writer's Group founder is known for producing some of Country Music's greatest artists, including Alabama, Clint Black, Melissa Etheridge, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, and The Neville Brothers.

The creator of DreamWorks Nashville also has movie soundtrack producer creds from films such as Boys on the Side, Maverick and The Thing Called Love.

With all the success, Stroud is excited about his new endeavor. "Even though the business model of the music industry changes, the one constant has been the importance of the artists and their songs," says Stroud. "The vision of Stroudavarious Records will be for the creativity to take precedent and allow the music to take care of the business."

Stroudavarious Records is located at 29 Music Square East in Nashville, and can be reached at info@stroudavarious.com.
