Steve Wariner Pays Tribute to Chet Atkins

Steve Wariner not only plans to put on a show to commemorate the career of Chet Atkins, but he's also naming his upcoming CD after Adkins.

On Aug. 29 of this month, in Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Wariner will play unreleased tracks from his album, Steve Wariner, c.g.p.: My Tribute to Chet Atkins. The album contains a mix of music by Wariner himself with several remixed versions of Atkins' music.

The show will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Ford Theater and is free to museum members. Guitarist John Knowles will perform with Warnier as well. After the performance, Wariner will sign copies of his CD in the museum store.
