Steve Martin, meet Opry; Opry, meet Steve Martin. The actor/comedian/writer is set to make his Grand Ole Opry musical debut on Saturday, May 30.

The funny man turned bluegrass performer will be playing songs from his first album, The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo, and singing his SNL-famed song, "Late to School," for the second time since the late show performance in 1978.

Martin will be in great company onstage, as The Crow bluegrass and Country Music collaborators John McEuen, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Stuart Duncan and Tim O'Brien perform alongside.

This is not Martin's first foray into recording and performing music. In 2001 he played on Earl Scruggs' "Foggy Mountain Breakdown," which went on to win a Grammy. Said McEuen, "Well, when Steve picks, fans will see how much it means to him to bring his music to the heart of Country Music. The audience will find out he's a musician disguised as an actor."
