Steve Azar to Co-host Golf Tournament

Steve Azar is joining forces with one of the golf world’s fan favorites, John Daly, to co-host the 1st Annual Campbell Chevrolet Celebrity Classic in Bowling Green, Ky., with proceeds from the event to benefit autism charities.
 
The event will take place at The Club at Olde Stone with a practice round and other festivities scheduled for Monday, October 20. The tournament and a special concert will take place the following day. Celebrities scheduled to participate include former Chicago Bears’ quarterback Jim McMahon, rock band 3 Doors Down and actor Gary Valentine, best known for his role on the sitcom “King of Queens.”
 
Azar recently released his album Indianola and is best known for his hits “I Don’t Have to Be Me (Til Monday)” and “Waitin’ on Joe.” Last year he was part of one of the nation’s top concert tours along with Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band. He has also been ranked fourth on the Golf Digest “Top 100 Celebrities Who Golf” list
