Stephen-CochranAfter performing on Saturday on ABC’s Good Morning America, Stephen Cochran will make a trip to the Big Apple to perform for the second annual “Salute to the Troops,” on Friday, Nov. 7.  Cochran joins event sponsors Microsoft, the USO of Metropolitan New York and the USO of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. at the Veterans Day weekend event that salutes the U.S. Military and their families with a special performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.  “I'm coming to New York to pay tribute to my fellow veterans and bring some real Country Music to the Big Apple,” Cochran said. “These soldiers and their families have sacrificed so much for this great country, and it's an honor and a privilege to do whatever I can whenever I can to salute them.”  Cochran will join Carmen Electra, Miss Teen USA Stevi Perry, Fred Baxter, Burguss Owens, and Orfeh and Ben Bailey at the event's Welcome Reception at the Hard Rock Café, where he will perform.  A decorated Marine veteran of campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, Cochran was severely wounded when a light armored vehicle he was riding in struck a landmine. He overcame severe back injuries and paralysis to become one of Country’s newest stars. Cochran has raised thousands of dollars on behalf of veterans and their families.
