Stars Align For Loretta Lynn Tribute Album

Some of Country Music’s most talented performers have gathered to record Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn, a Sony Music Nashville release that will be available in stores on Nov. 9.

The record company asked Loretta Lynn herself to choose which artists she would like to be included on the CD. She chose Sheryl Crow, Steve Earle, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Allison Moorer, Paramore, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, The White Stripes, Lucinda Williams, Gretchen Wilson and Lee Ann Womack.

Lynn has been performing her legendary songs for 50 years and said she is “so happy that these singers wanted to do this record.

Each collaborating artist recorded with their own choice of producer and musicians, according to AOL's The Boot.
