Source Awards Announce 2010 Honorees

The Source Awards, an annual celebration honoring women in the Country Music industry, has announced its 2010 honorees.

 

Source will honor Celia Froehlig, Carol Phillips, Sherytha Scaife, Liz Thiels and Ruth White for their continuous contribution of knowledge and talent to the music industry and Nashville as a whole.

 

Frances W. Preston will receive the Jo Walker Meador Lifetime Achievement Award. Preston served as president and CEO of BMI for 18 years, during which she was called “the most influential and powerful person in the Country Music business” by Esquire magazine.

 

The Source Awards will be held Aug. 26 at the Noah Liff Opera Center in Nashville.
