At this year’s CMA Music Festival’s Fan Fair Exhibit Hall, Country fans had the opportunity to meet Reba McEntire as she signed autographs for the first time in 13 years.

But according to TheBoot.com, Nashville’s Tennessean newspaper reported rumors that some fans might have been a little too eager to meet Reba. The rumor was circulating that a fan broke their wrist while running on Thursday morning to get the required wristband to meet the Country star.

Despite the potential injury, the crowd gathered around Reba’s booth at Fan Fair Hall and cheered her arrival at the Nashville Convention Center.

Best friends Angela Rhyne and Jackie Adams from North Carolina were among the 200 people guaranteed a spot in line to meet Reba. Rhyne called the experience “a dream come true.”

"We would do almost anything for Reba," Adams added.

As the two women got closer and closer to meeting the star, Adams revealed that her palms had begun to sweat, while Rhyne wiped tears from her eyes.

"I am trying not to be a baby," Rhyne said. "I don't want to look like a big sap."

The meeting only lasted two minutes -- the women exchanged small talk and had a Stetson hat signed. But the pair had met their idol after waiting in line for 13 hours.

"I was scared about meeting her," said Adams. "I waited so long, and I had all these visions of what it would be like. I wanted it to be perfect, and it was perfect. For those few seconds, she cared about us."
