Soap Stars Return To CMA Music Fest

5/22/2008 Staff Back by popular demand, the daytime soap stars of ABC’s All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital will be making several appearances June 5-8 at the 2008 CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The soap opera actors will be hosting events at the daytime stages at Riverfront Park, telling stories at the Family Zone and participating in a celebrity sports challenge at the sports zone.  All that and the soaps stars will be introducing Country Music artists performing at the nightly concerts. The actors will also make a stop at the ABC Block Party, which takes place on Saturday, June 7, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST at the stage facing Fifth Avenue between the Nashville Arena and the Hilton Hotel. Actors appearing at this year’s festival will be: All My Children — Bobbie Eakes ("Krystal Carey"), and Ricky Paull Goldin ("Jake Martin"). One Live to Live — Kassie DePaiva ("Blair Cramer"), and Kamar de los Reyes ("Antonio Vega").   General Hospital — Bradford Anderson ("Damian Spinelli"), Rebecca Herbst ("Elizabeth Webber"), and Jason Thompson ("Dr. Patrick Drake").  GH star Bradford Anderson For those unable to attend the party, the four-day celebration will air as a special, "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock," Monday, Sept. 8 (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. EST) on ABC.
