New Jessica Simpson Release In September

Columbia Nashville announced that Jessica Simpson’s new album Do You Know? will be released to stores September 9, 2008. Her newest single “Come On Over” is one of many songs that Simpson co-wrote on the album. Produced by two of Country’s most accomplished songwriters Brett James and John Shanks, the album is set to be a success.

Simpson feels like this album will let fans know who she really is deep down, a country girl from Texas. The album was recorded in Nashville with some of the Country’s greatest stars. Dolly Parton lent her voice to the title track “Do You Know.” Parton wrote the song for Simpson and then helped her sing the song as well.

Fans can hear songs from the album at one of Simpson’s many performances lined up for the rest of the summer. She is set to perform at this weekend’s Country Thunder USA Saturday night. Anyone can check out that performance at www.iClips.net.
