Actress Not "Clueless" About Carrie

Betts   Carrie Underwood has a major fan in actress Alicia Silverstone. Best known for her role in the film Clueless, Alicia tells InStyle.com that Carrie is “so cool” because she's a vegetarian. Alicia is one of many celebrities who does her share for the environment, and believes being a vegan is a step in the right direction. Carrie and Alicia met at the Sunday night (12/2) taping of the upcoming CBS special, Movies Rock, during which Carrie performs “The Sound of Music.” She also introduces Elton John's performance of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King. Other performers on the show, which celebrates the relationship between music and film, include LeAnn Rimes, R&B stars Mary J Blige and John Legend, and composer John Williams. The concert benefited the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Movies Rock will air on CBS-TV on Friday (12/7).
