11/30/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Toby Keith and his Show Dog Nashville labelmates Carter’s Chord are taking their holiday tunes to the CMT airwaves. Following the Nov. 24 premiere of the CMT special A Toby Keith Classic Christmas, the clip of “Go Tell It on the Mountain,” Toby’s duet with Jewel, has been added to medium rotation on the channel. The song is featured on Toby’s recently released A Classic Christmas album. The holiday season is also giving music lovers a chance to be introduced to Carter’s Chord, the trio of singing and songwriting sisters whose debut album, produced by Toby, is scheduled for release in early 2008 on Show Dog Nashville. The clip of their version of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” which the sisters taped as part of their appearance on the CMT.com web show “Unplugged at Studio 330” has just been added for the holidays on the CMT Network and CMT Pure Country. The clip can also been seen along with other songs and interview segments from the show at CMT.com. On Dec. 4, four songs by Carter’s Chord (sisters Becky, Emily and Joanna Robertson) will be available for digital download from iTunes, allowing music fans to get acquainted with them prior to the release of their album. Fans will be able to purchase the studio version of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” as well as the group’s debut single, “Young Love,” which will be released to radio on Jan. 14. iTunes will also offer downloads of another holiday song by Carter’s Chord, “Santa Baby,” as well as the track “Boys Like You (Give Love a Bad Name)” from their upcoming album.
