The rough and tumble pair of Shooter Jennings and Jamey Johnson are set to tape a new episode of CMT Crossroads this February in front of a live studio audience in Nashville.“I'm a Country artist with a rock influence and Shooter is a rock artist with a Country influence. Plus, we’ve been good friends for years. This will be an entertaining show to watch, I can promise you that,” said Johnson.Johnson's songwriting background has brought him CMA and ACM Song of the Year Awards for the 2007 George Strait hit, "Give it Away," and his songs have been recorded by Trace Adkins, Joe Nichols and George Jones. His 2008 album, The Lonesome Song, has received critical and commercial success, and he has been nominated for four ACMs this year, including Top New Male Artist, Single Record of the Year and as artist and composer for Song of the Year for “In Color.”Jennings, son of Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, is known for his rock and soul meets Country vibe.
