Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert Team Up to Remake a Loretta Lynn Classic

Loretta Lynn’s legendary hit single, “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” has been remade with two of the industry’s biggest stars and is set for a radio debut on Tuesday, Sept. 14.
Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow teamed up with Lynn to re-record the 1970s hit for the upcoming album, Coal Miner’s Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn, due in stores on Nov. 9.
The newly recorded tune will be the first single released from the album and is set for digital download availability on Sept. 28.
Lynn told CMT News that she is “happy and proud” to have Crow and Lambert work with her.
“I love Miranda and Sheryl,” Lynn said. “I really felt they both brought something different singing style-wise to this song.”
