Shania Twain's Birthday Surprise

Shania Twain is about to celebrate her birthday on Aug. 28, and in a recent video posted on her Web site, the singer/songwriter tells fans she will have a special "gift" posted to thank them for their support.

People.com reports that the gift is a real-life video compilation of Twain, updating fans on what the superstar has been up to for the past year. The source also said Twain will post another letter directed at fans along with the video.

The Country star as been out of the limelight for more than a year, after splitting from her husband, Robert "Mutt" Lange.

Twain will be a guest judge on this season of American Idol; check her out on Aug. 30 and 31.
