Shania Twain has teamed with Atria Books to publish her autobiography in the spring of 2011.

The book has yet to find a title but will tell the tale of Twain's life as a girl in Ontario, the death of her mother and stepfather and the singer’s rise to fame in the world of Country Music.

“There have been moments in my life I was concerned by the reality that tomorrow would never come,” Twain said. “I began writing this book with a sincere respect for the past, present and future as something never to be taken for granted.”

Twain has sold more than 48 million record in the U.S., and Judith Curr, executive vice president and publisher of Atria Books said the book will be a success.

“When I read Shania’s manuscript, it amazed me how rich, clear, unfiltered and honest she was,” Curr said. “There is a depth that comes through in her writing. The book will be a help and inspiration to many and those who think they know her from her music will be surprised at the raw and personal place she writes from.”
