Shania Twain Split Makes People Cover

6/2/2008 Amber Garner   Shania Twain will grace the cover of People magazine for the first time since June 1999, but it’s not because of her music or stunning good looks. According to gactv.com Twain is on the cover with the headline reading, “Shania Betrayed.” The story alleges that Twain’s assistant Marie-Anne Thiebaud had an affair with her estranged husband Robert John “Mutt” Lange. The magazine claims to have the first interview with Thiebaud in which she says the affair never occurred, “You cannot believe everything you read in the press.” Shania is said to be with family in Canada. People will hit newsstands this Friday.
