Rascal Flatts bassist Jay DeMarcus will be producing some of Nickelodeon star Jeanette McCurdy’s songs, according to a recent report from The Boot.
This isn’t the first time DeMarcus has tried his hand at producing, having worked with several other artists in the past. Some of those include Jo Dee Messina, brother-in-law James Otto, Christian singer Michael English, Austin Bridges and Chicago's 2006 album, Chicago XXX.
DeMarcus and McCurdy were spotted in the studio last week, and both say they are excited to see the “rockin’ music” they can produce.
In other DeMarcus news, he and his wife recently welcomed their first child, Madeline Leigh, on Friday, Dec. 17, at a Nashville hospital.
