Seeing Dad on TV Confuses Darryl Worley's Daughter

Savannah Gail Worley, daughter of Darryl Worley and wifte Kimberly, has become really bonded with her mom and dad since she was born 15 months ago in March 2008. But that can pose a problem when her Dad’s on the road. Sometimes, Worley pops up on the TV screen and it usually confuses his little girl.

"I got a call from her mom the other night, and obviously they were watchin’ GAC and the video came on, and little Savannah had a fit," Worley told Suzanne Alexander on the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "[Kimberly] said she was really confused. She kept lookin’ at [her] and goin’, ‘Ma ma ma ma ma ma.’ And then look back at the TV and goin’, ‘Da da da da.’ It was weird that she knew it was me. I’m on the screen but she would look at her, and [Kimberly] knew she was thinkin’, ‘Where is he in the house? Where is he in the house?’ and I was in West Tennessee, so she’s pickin’ up on it already."

While his wife and daughter have been at home, Worley just released a new album, Sounds Like Life. The title track is at No. 25 on the Country Aircheck singles chart.
