Earl Scruggs to Receive Lifetime Grammy

12/18/2007 Earl Scruggs will be among the recipients of the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Also being honored are The Band, Burt Bacharach, Cab Calloway, Doris Day, Itzhak Perlman, and Max Roach. A special invitation-only ceremony will be held during Grammy Week on Saturday, Feb. 9, and a formal acknowledgment will be made during the 50th Annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, broadcast live at 8 p.m. (ET) on CBS-TV.
