Country Music vocalist Sara Evans will be joined by Maroon 5 on a new episode of CMT Crossroads set to premiere on Friday, May 9 at 9:00 p.m. EST. The one-hour installment was taped before a live audience in Nashville.  Several of Evans’ hits were performed, including “I Could Not Ask For More” and “Some Things Never Change.”  Maroon 5’s hits “This Love,” “She Will Be Loved” and “Won’t Go Home Without You” also were sung. Multi-platinum recording artist Sara Evans has recently released her Greatest Hits package, including such Country Music hits as “Born to Fly” and “No Place that Far.”  Evans co-wrote four new songs on the album, “As If,” “Love You with All My Heart,” “Pray for You” and “Some Things Never Change.”  The Grammy-winning Maroon 5 have a successful 2007 album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, which made iTunes pre-sale records and rocketed to number one with “Makes Me Wonder.” CMT Crossroads pairs Country Music artists with popular artists from other genres of music.  Previous pairings have included Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire, John Fogerty and Keith Urban, and Joss Stone with LeAnn Rimes.
