Sara Evans Writing New Album

Sara Evans has been in the studio finishing up her next album with brother Matt Evans and Taylor Swift producer, Nathan Chapman.

Evans is proud of her newest creative endeavor, telling a GAC radio show, "I wrote almost every song, maybe except one, with Nathan Chapman and my brother, Matt. And it's very Country. It reminds me a lot of Born to Fly... I am so pumped about this. I think it could be the best one yet."

The singer is taking inspiration from her other new endeavor, her marriage to Jack Barker, which took place last summer. The couple is now living in Alabama with their children. As Evans said, "I'm in a place writing this album that I've never been before, ever. You can totally see that and hear that in my voice. I've never been married to Jay Barker and written an album before, and it shows."

Evans' yet untitled new album is due out later this year, the first single should hit airwaves in May.
