Rumors of Mindy McCready Sex Tape Swirl

Mindy McCready just recently made her Country Music comeback. She’s had a rough road, dealing with drug addiction, jail time and hospitalization, tut the road doesn’t seem to be getting any smoother yet.

According to Nashville's WKRN, Vivid Entertainment announced it will release a sex tape entitled Mindy McCready: Baseball Mistress on April 19. McCready’s lawyer has issued a cease and desist order to the video distribution company. The video is said to include details of an affair with famed MLB pitcher Roger Clemens.

Representatives for McCready do not deny the existence of such a tape, but they do say that the tape is not an authorized project. 

According to a statement released by Vivid Entertainment, the tape shows McCready involved with a past boyfriend named “Peter,” and the singer talks about her involvement with Clemens as well as befriending the late Robert Kennedy Jr. as well as touring with Alan Jackson at the age of 17.

McCready’s lawyer, Adam Dread, released this statement, “We can confirm that any illegally-obtained property, and/or fabricated footage, and the release thereof, will be dealt with swiftly following proper legal procedure."

UPDATE: Spike.com has pulled the teaser video of the tape after Vivid Entertainment failed to provide proof of distribution rights. Attorney Dread and McCready are hopeful other media outlets will follow suit.
