Rowdy Frynds Are Back on Tour

Betts Hank Williams Jr. and southern-rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd teamed for a successful concert trek in 2007, and are currently preparing for another Rowdy Frynds Tour in the spring. This year's edition kicks off Apr. 4 in Hershey, PA, and covers 20 dates on Friday and Saturday nights through Jun. 14 when they conclude the run in Jacksonville, FL, Skynyrd's official birthplace. “Our following of fans fits together perfectly,” says Skynyrd vocalist Johnny Van Zant, also a member with brother Donnie in the country duo Van Zant. “We can't wait to get back out there and have some fun." “Last year was incredible,” Hank Jr. adds. “How could we not get together for another round?!” The 2007 tour, which also covered 20 dates, grossed more than $10.5 million in ticket sales.
