Country Music legend Rosanne Cash is ready to share her family story as Johnny Cash's eldest daughter in her memoir, Composed (Viking), due in stores Aug. 10. Cash is embarking on a multi-city book tour to promote the work, in which the singer/songwriter will read excerpts, sign autographs and, at a few select stops, treat fans to a performance.

Cash's first stop will be ABC's Good Morning America on Aug. 10 for a vocal performance and interview about Composed. NPR fans can catch the songstress on “All Things Considered” the week of Aug. 10, and a performance is scheduled with husband and guitarist John Leventhal in Southold, N.Y., on Aug. 21. Cash will continue her tour at the Minnesota State Fair on Aug. 30 and the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Oct. 2.

Books are not the only item on Cash's agenda. Her critically-acclaimed album, The List, is up for a 2010 Americana Music Award for Album of the Year. The ceremony for the awards will take place in Nashville on Sept. 9.
