Rosanne Cash Gets Around
Rosanne Cash is going to be very very busy promoting her new release The List, which is a compilation of covers of country songs her dad thought were essential. Here’s what the press release says:
The week of the album’s release, Cash will perform on NBC’s The Today Show on October 6th, followed by a performance on CBS’s The Late Show With David Letterman on October 7th. Cash will also appear on NPR’s popular programs “Fresh Air” and “Morning Edition,” as well as American Public Media’s “A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor,” which will be broadcast live from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, MN, on October 17th at 4:45 p.m. CT. In addition, listeners will be able to hear The List streamed in it's entirety as part of NPR Music's "Exclusive First Listen" series from September 29th through October 6th.
Cash and her band will open the St. Ann’s Warehouse 30th Anniversary Season by performing The List on October 9th and 10th. St. Ann’s Warehouse is located at 38 Water Street in Brooklyn. Tickets are currently on-sale.

Emmylou Harris and Vince Gill On The Jay Leno Show
While Emmylou Harris and Vince Gill are in Los Angeles anyway to do the “All For The Hall” fundraiser for the country music hall of fame on October 1, they are going to take a side route and do the Jay Leno Show. The two will perform a special duet together September 30. Did I mention Emmylou’s a neighbor of mine? She won’t let me poop in her yard though. Woof.
