Rodney Atkins' Big Week

8/31/2007 Stephen L. Betts   It’s been a pretty good week for Rodney Atkins. First, he notched his third consecutive No. 1 single this week as “These Are My People” topped the Billboard chart. And on Thursday (8/30), Rodney learned he’s been nominated for the CMA Horizon Award. Rodney previously reached No. 1 with “If You're Going Through Hell” and “Watching You,” the song inspired by his 5-year-old son Elijah. While Rodney spent the summer touring with Martina McBride, on Sept. 6, he travels to London, Ontario to join fellow CMA nominees Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift on the Bonfires and Amplifiers tour.
