In correlation with celebrating the Memorial Day holiday, Rockie Lynne will release songs for soldiers in a way to honor those who serve our country.

Lynne will release eight original compositions and six familiar songs on his Songs for Soldiers CD, in which 1/3 of album proceeds will be donated to troop-related causes by the artist. In addition, with every copy purchased from the website, www.rockielynne.com, Lynne will send a copy of the CD to a service member deployed overseas. Those who bought the CD on the website have the opportunity to write a personal note of ‘thanks’ to accompany the service members’ CD.
Lynne, a veteran of the United States Army, originally created his CD as a gift for troops while touring overseas military bases in 2008-2009. After the tour, Lynne decided to release the project commercially.
“The creation and release of this collection is intended to simply and proudly proclaim in a clear and undeniable voice that we as Americans support our soldiers and we stand behind the men and women of our Armed Forces. We recognize their sacrifice, duty, honor and commitment to our nation and we humbly say ‘thank you,’” Lynne said.
To promote the release of the album, Lynne will make appearances on “Fox and Friends” (5/31), “Daytime” (5/31), “Better TV” (5/28), “Daily Buzz” (6/3), “The Laura Ingraham Show” (6/2)and “What’s the Buzz” (6/1).
