Country Music Artist Gets Modeling Contract

6/26/2008 Sandy Paul   Rising Country Music artist Rissi Palmer has joined the ranks of models such as Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum by teaming up with IMG Models. The company will present the 26-year-old for global endorsement opportunities. "We are proud to add Rissi Palmer to our list of world-class talent," said Ivan Bart, Senior Vice President of IMG Models. "She is an accomplished singer-songwriter with a rapidly growing fan base and we look forward to working with her." Palmer, who was named one of “Nine New Stars to Listen to” by People Magazine in 2008, released her debut album in October 2007. The album received widespread media attention from outlets such as Billboard, People and Newsweek. The artist’s latest single, “No Air,” is climbing Country Music charts and is currently just outside of the Top 40 list.
