LeAnn Films Big-Screen Debut

Betts   LeAnn Rimes spent Tuesday (Aug. 7) in Atlanta shooting one of her scenes for Good Intentions, a film that also stars Luke Perry (Beverly Hills, 90210, John From Cincinnati). Making her feature-film acting debut, LeAnn portrays the younger sister of a woman who turns to a life of crime to finance her sons' college education. Written by Anthony Stephenson and directed by Jim Issa, the independent film stars Elaine Hendrix (The Parent Trap), Jimmi Simpson (Zodiac) and Jon Gries (Napoleon Dynamite).  LeAnn performs tonight (Aug. 8) at Atlanta's Chastain Park Amphitheater. Her new album, Family, will be released Oct. 2.
