1/17/2008 Stephen L. Betts   Rascal Flatts return to the concert stage tonight (1/17) with their Still Feels Good tour stopping in Manchester, New Hampshire. The band's Jay DeMarcus says the new stage arrangement on thie completely revamped tour allows the guys to really get close to the audience. Lead singer Gary LeVox adds, “Getting to be on the road and seeing our fans is why we love what we do.” And although they like to put on a high-energy show, one problem they have is that several of their biggest hits are slow songs. Guitarist Joe Don Rooney says, “You don't want to do too many ballads. You don't want to lull [the audience] to sleep.” Somehow we don’t think that’ll be a problem for the group who’ll be playing New York City's Madison Square Garden Friday night, followed by several shows in the northeast. The boys will be joined by Kellie Pickler on this leg of the tour, with Taylor Swift slated to open several shows for them in the spring.
