Reba McEntire Back In Studio Recording Solo Album

 Country Music star Reba McEntire is currently back in the studio recording an album. The album will be her first new solo project in more than five years.“It’s not like I ever consciously decided to wait so long between studio albums,” McEntire said. “We just had these great opportunities along the way-to put out another Greatest Hits, plus the TV show was going on and then we did the Duets project. Before I knew it, six years had gone by.”McEntire’s most recent album, Room To Breathe, came out in 2003. Her only other release since that time has been Reba Duets, a 2007 project that paired her with Kenny Chesney, Trisha Yearwood, Don Henley and Kelly Clarkson.“With the Duets project, I had to think about whether the song would work as a duet, or work for the other artists,” McEntire said. “This time, I really got to think about just great songs. I am really pleased with the songs we’ve picked.”
