Raul Malo Kicks Off Americana Concert Series at Bluebird Cafe

The Americana Music Association will kick off the second annual “Live at The Bluebird Café” concert series Feb. 18, with Raul Malo being the first to perform at 9 p.m. The six-show series will last until March 25.
The series, which is sponsored by the Gibson Foundation, will celebrate the genre’s best-loved and most influential performers. According to a news release, it will “feature artists who help define Americana music in the uniquely intimate setting of the world-famous Bluebird Café.”
On March 4, an evening titled “White Trash in Your Living Room” will feature Rodney Crowell with Mary Gauthier, Minton Sparks and Elizabeth Cook.
Each show is $25 and tickets are available by calling the Americana Music Association at (615)-386-6936 or online at www.bluebirdcafe.com. Series passes are $125 and are available through Feb. 10.
