Rascal-Flatts
The members of Rascal Flatts were in New York City this past week promoting the release of their new CD, Nothing Like This. After numerous radio interviews and television performances, the band made a personal appearance at Manhattan’s JC Penney store to announce the JC Penney Online Angel Giving Tree Program and thier plans to host a toy drive. They also presentd a $100,000 check to the Salvation Army on behalf of JC Penney.

Earlier this week, Rascal Flatts adopted their own online angels and encourage everyone this holiday season to do the same at www.jcp.com/angel. The Angel Giving Tree Program provides clothing, gifts and other wish list items to kids and seniors throughout the U.S.

Earlier this week, the first 100 fans who donated a new, unwrapped toy received an autographed copy of their new CD, Nothing Like This.  For every CD sold at JC Penney stores throughout the country, $1 will be donated to the Salvation Army through March 15, 2011.

The $100,000 donation from JC Penney to the Salvation Army will provide gifts for 1,000 children this holiday season.
