Wait Is Over For Rascal Flatts

It was a long time coming due to their label folding, but Rascal Flatts’ new single, “Why Wait”, is already in Billboard’s Top 20 after just three weeks. It is the first release off their upcoming cd on their new label, Big Machine Records, which is also home to Taylor Swift. “It instantly caught my attention as we were listening down through literally hundreds of songs on our comp CDs,” Flatts’ bass player Jay DeMarcus says. I can relate to the title. My person’s always telling me “wait, wait…”. I say “Why Wait”?

 

Grammy winners Lady A has released a new iTunes session of some of their greatest hits, and a cover of Tom Petty’s “Learning To Fly”. Here’s the whole list of songs on the session:

 4. Our Kind Of Love
 5. Love This Pain

Maybe Lady A and Tom Petty should do one of those Crossroads thing? But what do I know I’m just a dog.

 

“All About Tonight” has hit #1 on the Billboard charts. The newest Blake Shelton release is his second #1 this year. “Hillbilly Bone” hit the top in March. This is Blake’s 7th #1 of his career. Guess only thing better than that is he’s engaged to Miranda Lambert. Now that makes him #1 on my chart. Woof.

 

Trace Adkins says he’s excited about his new release, which is his first on Show Dog-Universal Records.  Adkins says it’s the best collection of music he could get his hands on. Adkins will be showing up on a plethora of TV shows to promote his new release. It includes his duet with Blake Shelton, “Hillbilly Bone” too! Here’s one for you Trace, “My cowboy’s back and you’re gonna be sorry. Hey la, hey la my cowboy’s back…”
