5/28/2008 Mac McKinnon Randy Owen & Alabama  Broken Bow Records just landed a Country Music legend in the form of former Alabama front man Randy Owen, who is embarking on a solo career for the first time. Owen’s debut solo album, One on One, will hit stores November 11, 2008, while its first single will debut June 11. “Signing with Broken Bow is something I’m truly excited about for me and my whole team,” said Owen “I definitely felt an immediate connection with everyone at the label, and meeting Benny Brown and Brad Howell (General Manager of Broken Bow) was like meeting people I grew up with – down home people like I am. We share a lot in common, and that’s helpful when you’re working together to get this music out there.” Owen's solo album was produced by Big & Rich's John Rich and will include eleven songs, seven of which Owen had a hand in writing.
