Pistol Annies' Debut Album Shoots Up The Chart

With their first album, Hell On Heels, the brand-new country trio featuring Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Country Album Chart. They call themselves the Pistol Annies, and they shot up the charts with ease. 
 
"I cannot believe how much fans have embraced us," said Miranda. "We are so thrilled and even more inspired than ever. Thank you so much to our country fans."
 
Ashley added, "I am completely overwhelmed and humbled by the response of our wonderful fans. I couldn't be more encouraged that country music is being embraced so completely."
 
Pistol Annies got its start when Miranda and Ashley were writing together. Ashley thought Miranda should meet Angaleena, and that late-night phone call led to something incredible- a No. 1 album!
