Paul Worley Launches New Label

Paul-Worley
Country’s famous producer, Paul Worley, has developed and discovered the Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride, Big & Rich and Lady Antebellum. The records he produced have sold more than 125 million units worldwide and have generated more thab one billion dollars in sales. And now, the producer and his team have started a brand new label in Nashville, called Skyville Records.

“This label is a natural extension of the artist development that we have always done,” Worley said in a news release. “It makes more sense now than ever as the music industry must create new ways of doing business.”

The first act Worley and Skyville Records signed is Stealing Angels, a trio of Country blond bombshells. Caroline Cutbirth, Jennifer Wayne and Tayla Lynn are performing at fairs and festivals around the country and their first single, “He Better Be Dead,” will hit radio July 12.

Wally Wilson and Glen Morgan are also helping with the new label. Wilson is a producer, music publisher, songwriter and musician. He has received BMI and ASCAP Awards and has written songs for Rascal Flatts, The Neville Brothers, Joe Cocker, Amy Grant and Vince Gill. Morgan, meanwhile, has co-founded a law firm in Texas and has worked the business management role at Skyline Music Publishing.
