Paisley Gives Away Custom Corvettes to Benefit Children

Brad Paisley’s connection with Kids Wish Network dates back to 1999. A 13-year-old girl, Brandy, suffering a life-threatening illness told the network her only wish was to meet the then-up-and-coming Country star Paisley. Paisley gladly granted Brandy’s wish after the release of his debut album, Who Needs Pictures. Upon this occurrence, Paisley felt moved to raise awareness for children in crisis and the children involved with Kids Wish Network.

The network’s mission is to bring smiles to children across the country who are in hospitals, homeless shelters, abuse shelters and other pediatric care facilities. Paisley is now serving as the national spokesperson for the Kids Wish Network 2010 Corvette Dream Giveaway. His main duty for this includes giving away two custom-made Corvettes. Proceeds will benefit the Kids Wish Network’s Hero program.

"What could be better than helping lots of dreams come true for these deserving children, through a chance for Corvette enthusiasts to win their dream," said Paisley.

"We are thrilled to have Brad working so closely with us on the Corvette Dream Giveaway," said Shelley Breiner of Kids Wish Network. "It is wonderful to see the smiles and pleasure he brings to kids."

This marks Kids Wish Network’s third year to be awarding two custom Corvettes to one randomly selected winner. One of the cars is a brand new, one-of-a-kind 2010 Brad Paisley Hero Edition Corvette ZR1, which includes small, hand-painted red music notes on the car’s hood. The other car is a classically restored 1967 427 Corvette Roadster.

Tickets to enter the Corvette Dream Giveaway are $10 and can be purchased at http://kidswishnetwork.org/winthevettes. The winner will be announced Jan. 15, 2011.
