James Otto Celebrates #1 With Fans

6/9/2008 Amber Garner   James Ottto celebrated his first number one hit, "Just Got Started Lovin' You" during CMA Music Festival in Music City last week.  A party was thrown for fans of Otto, to celebrate his new success, at a Nashville nightclub. The party came in the midst of the CMA Musical Festival and was sponsored by BMI, SESAC and Warner Bros. Records, Otto’s Label Not only did Otto produce “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” but he also co-wrote it with D.Vincent Williams and Jim Fernino. This was all three writers first number one. Otto was so appreciative for all of the help he had making the song a success that he bought a bottle of Dom Perignoin for the promotions staff, said Warner Bros. promotion chief Gator Michaels. Aside from all the awards Otto received for his first hit, Elite II Racing gave him a Chevrolet racing car that has his name on the bumper and the Sunset Man album cover on the hood. “After 11 years, this couldn’t be sweeter,” says Otto.
