James Otto Just Getting Started

5/6/2008 Kasey Bell Country Music newcomer James Otto’s debut album hasn’t even been out a month, but it has already earned him one of the most prestigious accomplishments in music: a Number One single. James’ hit single “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” reached the No. 1 spot on both the R&R and Mediabase Country Music charts this week.  The single, co-written by James, Jim Femino and D. Vincent Williams, is the first off Otto’s album Sunset Man. As well as having the No. 1 single, James Otto spent four weeks at No. 1 on the MusicRow chart and made No. 1 on both the R&R Indicator and Country Aircheck Activator charts.  All of this has been a lot for the new Country Music star.  “I am still in shock,” James said.  “As a songwriter, this is something you dream about.  I am so thankful to the fans and country radio for their support because there is no way this single would be No. 1 without them.”
