3/19/2008 Staff On Monday (March 17), a Dallas County, Texas grand jury issued indictments on felony charges against two former Dallas police officers related to a Dec. 27 incident at the home of country music singer Steve Holy. Randy Anderson, 27, and Paul Loughridge, 48, are accused of holding Holy and his friend, Walter McRae, at gunpoint at Holy's house, where the four men went to play foosball after meeting at a Dallas bar. The incident began when Anderson began questioning Steve Holy's identity, after which he then allegedly pointed a gun at him while ordering him to get facedown on the floor.  The officer supposedly continued the activity despite Holy providing him with identification. The friend of Steve Holy, McRae, claims the other officer, Loughridge held a gun at his head as well. Anderson was indicted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping. Loughridge was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The two fired police officers could face up to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
