Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame.

Nominations can be submitted at www.CRB.org. However, CRB, Inc. will provide each nominee with an official application, which must be returned to the CRB office by Friday, Sept. 10. Nominees may include air-checks, press clippings and award listings with their application. Those applications received after Sept. 10 will be automatically held for consideration in the 2012 Hall of Fame.

A voting committee of Country radio and industry veterans will determine the 2011 Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame inductees. A dinner and ceremony will be held for the inductees on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at the Nashville Convention Center.

“Through the years, Country radio has been blessed with many talented and dedicated professionals who genuinely care about the music they play, their audiences and their communities,” said CRB Hall of Fame Chairman Charlie Morgan. “One of the many things that Country Radio Broadcasters is committed to doing is recognizing the contributions of these wonderful broadcasters.”

  • Must have at least a 20-year on-air career in radio, minimum of 15 in the Country format.
  • Significant contributions to the growth and development in the Country radio industry and ongoing contributions to the preservation and enhancement of Country Music as an art form.
