Nicole Kidman on Love, Singing and Keith Urban

Actress Nicole Kidman is in her marriage for keeps. The star told Access Hollywood this week, "I want to be in love for the rest of my life."

Wife of Country Music star Keith Urban, Kidman is no stranger to the music lifestyle as witness by her upcoming musical, Nine. But Kidman claims she is not one to jump up in front of a karaoke machine. "I'm very, very shy. I'm shy to sing anyway," the actress said, stating that singing only works for her when in character. "And at home, I love listening…Keith has a beautiful voice. He writes music, so there's music in our home. And that's a lovely thing to be able to say that."

The actress has not only been promoting the star-studded film, Nine, but also clearing up a provocative quote printed in the December issue of British GQ, involving everything from "strange sexual fetish stuff" and the "mundane aspects of marriage."

Kidman explains the comment was in answer to a question about her work, not her personal life. "In terms of my work, yeah, I'm interested in exploring love, and so that comes in all different forms."

When it comes to her personal life, Kidman is very clear: "I want to be an old woman still married to Keith," she said. "And looking back going, 'What a lovely, lovely journey together.'"
