Nicole & Keith Update: Kidman Talks Baby And Country Life

6/18/2008 Lisa Ann Schleipfer The July issue of Vogue has hit newsstands, the cover proclaiming a stylish Nicole Kidman, her pregnancy a mere baby bump in a gorgeous green Catherine Martin dress. The interview focuses primarily on Kidman's new film, Australia, and her love for all things Baz Luhrmann.  But Kidman takes time to discuss her life with her Country Music artist husband, Keith Urban, and their home in Nashville. "We have a farm there, and I have an organic vegetable garden. This is a path I'd not taken before. My mum's always gardened. My sister gardens. And I've now conformed to the Kidman women's hobby of gardening.... There's a softness to the Tennessee landscape that I just love," Kidman said.  "It's very beautiful out there."  As for Keith Urban, Kidman said, "I'm so committed to this relationship, and so is he." The couple met in January of 2005, and were married a year and half later in Sydney.  Their unborn child, the couple's first, has made headlines around the world. Although Kidman reportedly suffered from terrible morning sickness on the set of Australia, to her the pregnancy is a blessing.  "When I first saw the baby on the ultrasound, I started crying," Kidman explained. "I didn't think I'd get to experience that in my lifetime. I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I'm going to embrace that completely." It's good news all around the Kidman/Urban household, as GAC.com reports this week that Urban's current single, the re-recorded "You Look Good In My Shirt," is at number 20 on the Country Aircheck singles chart.
