Nashvillians heading down Broadway and 17th Avenue can see Laird’s billboard asking Swift if she’ll produce an album for him. Laird is also making waves on the Internet with his self-taped covers of Swift’s songs.  Several Taylor Swift fans have reached out to Laird and have become fans of him as well. His manager, Brandon Riester, said he was amazed by his creativity in reaching out to Swift.  “When Ryan came to me with this idea, I thought it was brilliant and way outside the lines for Nashville,” said Riester. “It is the kind of outside the paradigm thinking our industry needs to start selling units. Unique stories of success are what makes the music industry so magical.”  Laird is a huge fan of Swift and has been waiting for Swift’s sophomore album to hit stores.  “I love her music, and I heard her talk on the radio about how she writes and hears all the instruments and parts in the song before it’s produced,” said Laird. “I thought, ‘Wow, this could be a great collaboration,’ so I made this billboard because I wanted to come up with a unique way to reach out to Taylor.”
