Brad Paisley Helps Making Of New TV Show Nashville

Well let’s hope it’s better than Robert Altman’s Nashville, or W.W. and the Dixie Dance Kings. Brad Paisley admits he’s involved with a group producing a drama about the music industry in Nashville that will air on the CW Network. The show is described as “a drama that revolves around an aspiring young female singer destined for stardom and a male songwriter whose career isn’t as certain”.  Brad says he will appear from time to time as will other country music stars. Yeah well if you need a good Bloodhound, my agent says don’t call us we’ll call you Brad. Woof.

I Knew I Should Have Gone To That Brad Paisley Concert
Speaking of Brad and good deeds. Last week he gave an Orange Park, FL couple a brand new pick-up truck for being the 1,000,000th fan to attend his American Saturday Night tour. The best part is that the truck is much needed by Amber and Tim Brown. They’re expecting their 3rd child and Tim’s in the navy so the truck was well needed. We salute you Brad!

Taylor Swift Wasn’t Always Fearless
Taylor Swift tells The Boot that playing to sold out crowds at Madison Square or Staple Center in Los Angeles really didn’t scare her that much. She says the scariest thing she’s done and the toughest decision she’s made was to leave high school (she did graduate through home schooling though) to pursue her music career. Taylor says she missed not graduating with the rest of her class. Brings back memories of my graduation from puppy training. I was so nervous I peed on the carpet.

How Do You Like Your Tequila Mixed?
Joe Nichols has had country rapper Colt Ford remix his 2005 hit single “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off”. It is a bonus track on his latest release Old Things New. They’re delivering copies to dance clubs nationwide too. Ya’ll keep your clothes on now, if you want.

New Whippin’ Post
Texas country-rocker Susan Hickman has released her version of the Allman Brothers’ classic “Whippin’ Post”. They’re trying to get it played on radio now. If you don’t have much luck Susan, I know what it’s like….sometimes I feel like I’ve been tied to the Whippin’ Post too.
