The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum will induct its second group of honorees at an October 28th awards show at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.The organization gives special recognition to the behind-the-scenes people who have made significant contributions to some of the songs we have all come to know by heart.This year’s honorees include Booker T. and the MGs, The Memphis Horns, The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, The Crickets, Al Kooper and Billy Sherrill.This group has been in some way responsible for such hits as "Dock of the Bay," "Mustang Sally," "Peggy Sue," "Like a Rolling Stone" and "He Stopped Loving Her Today."The new class was announced by music legends George Jones and Peter Frampton. A final inductee will be announced closer to the show’s date.
